This policy explains what information we collect through thecainsurance.com, by phone, text, email, and in person, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request a quote, call, text, or email us, you may share your name, email, phone number, ZIP code, the type of coverage you need, your preferred contact time, and any notes you choose to include.
Information needed to enroll you. If you decide to apply for a plan, we may collect information the carrier or Marketplace requires, such as date of birth, household size, estimated income, current coverage, doctors and prescriptions, and, where required for enrollment, your Social Security number. We only ask for this when it is needed to quote or enroll you. Please do not send Social Security numbers or medical details through our website form.

Insurance carriers and the Health Insurance Marketplace (HealthCare.gov and approved enrollment platforms) to quote and enroll you
Medicare and CMS-approved channels when you enroll in a Medicare plan
Service providers that help us run our business, such as email, website hosting, form processing, and secure document storage; they may use your information only to provide those services
Government agencies or others when required by law, such as a subpoena, a regulator’s request, or to prevent fraud
With your permission in any other case

When you submit our form or give us your number, you agree that a licensed agent from CA Insurance Associates may contact you by phone, text message, or email about your insurance request. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any plan.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP, and get help by replying HELP. You can also ask us to stop calling or emailing you at any time using the contact information below, and we will honor your request promptly.
We do not share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing. Calls with Medicare beneficiaries may be recorded as required by Medicare rules.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, and we limit access to people who need it to serve you. No website, email, or online transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We keep your information for as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal, licensing, and carrier recordkeeping requirements. After that, we delete or securely destroy it.
